CLEAN ENERGY

The energy that generates most of our electricity comes from power stations that use fossil fuels like coal and oil. At the same time, these power stations burn fossil fuels to make our electricity, a lot of greenhouse gas is made, including carbon dioxide and methane. This is one of the reasons they are called dirty energy sources.

The warmth of the Earth’s atmosphere has been attributed to greenhouse gases and scientists have told us that this will cause climate change ultimately leading to extreme weather conditions and threatening the habitat of all living things. Clean and renewable energy have a much lower contribution to global warming. Solar and wind energy provides clean energy and should be promoted.
