CLEAN WATER

Clean, accessible water for all is an essential part of an ideal world we want to live in and the presence of sufficient fresh water on the planet makes this achievable. Major limiting factors to achieving this however include bad governance and poor infrastructure, subjecting millions of people including children to diseases associated with inadequate water supply, sanitation and hygiene. Food security, educational opportunities for poor families and livelihood choices are also negatively impacted by water scarcity and poor water quality. When there is no access to safe water, education and food become limited, health gets harmed and this leads to a cycle of poverty. Drinking dirty water often leads to illness and disease which are capable of robbing an entire community of its future.
