A ₦1,000,000 collaborative initiative delivering critical resources to 171 pupils in Lagos, Nigeria.
LAGOS, NIGERIA — Golden Oasis Spring Foundation (GOSF) is pleased to announce the successful execution of its recent educational intervention initiative in the Somolu Local Government Area of Lagos State. This impactful project was made possible through a generous grant of ₦1,000,000 from St. James Charity, facilitated by the philanthropic platform Philantify. The initiative commenced in March 2026 when Philantify invited GOSF to onboard its “Beautiful Feet” project onto their platform. Following strategic technical guidance from the Philantify team, the project proposal was subsequently selected for funding by St. James Charity in July 2026. To maximize community impact, the scope of the project was expanded to also integrate Golden Oasis Spring Foundation’s Mochila initiative, which provides free premium backpacks to public primary school pupils.
Through this generous funding from St. James Charity, Golden Oasis Spring Foundation successfully delivered critical educational resources to 171 vulnerable pupils across two public primary schools:
- 93 pupils received brand-new, high-quality footwear and socks.
- 78 pupils received premium, durable backpacks.
By providing these essential items, the partnership directly addresses systemic barriers to education, aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), and restores dignity and confidence to underprivileged children.
“We are deeply honoured by the trust St. James Charity placed in our organisation to execute this project seamlessly,” said the CEO of Golden Oasis Spring Foundation.
This intervention has brought measurable relief to students, parents, and school authorities alike.
Golden Oasis Spring Foundation wishes to express its sincere gratitude to Philantify for facilitating this impactful partnership.
